I like this picture because the tree stands out from the blue background and it doesn't look like an average tree of green and brown.

4 Square Filter

This is a project that was a practice for the filtered-self portrait.  The bottom right picture is the original picture I used.  The bottom left picture has a cut out filter and the gradient tool to add the rainbow effect.  The top left has only the cut out filter.  Finally the top right has the cut out filter and the posterize filter.  This is one of my favorite pictures I've done this year because it turned out really well and I love the frog in the picture.

A Day in Digital Imaging Comic Strip

I worked with Ricky to create this comic strip.  The idea came after we had a day Ricky was playing with photo booth and people began to come to be in his pictures.  We reinacted that day for the pictures, which I took, and put them in a comic form.  We put a neon glow on the pictures so they were black and had the neon colors.  Ricky then inverted them and took the history brush so the people and objects of the picture would be more noticeable.  I then added text so it would be more obvious what we were showing in the picture.

Visual Puns--Eye Ball

This is another visual puns picture I did.  I took the volleyball that was originally in this picture and added an eye ball where it was.  I used the transform tool to stretch the eye ball to fit where I erased the volleyball.  I picked this picture because I thought it was one of the funnier ones that I had done.

Visual Puns--Deviled Eggs

This is one of the visual puns I decided to do.  I used the eraser tool to erase parts of the eggs, the text tool to add deviled eggs, and the transform tool to stretch and shrink parts of the picture.  I selected this one because I thought it turned out closer to what I imagined than the other pictures I did.

Filtered Self-Portrait

I created this picture from a picture taken in photo booth.  I cannot remember what filters I used to manipulate the pictures.

Negative Space--Me

This is a silhouette picture of me in front of a swallowtail butterfly on a daylily.  The text that is written across my silhouette is spontaneous in four different texts and two different colors.  I got the two colors as the difference of the flower in the background.  I have a drop shadow on the silhouette.  The background opacity was changed so its faded to 65%.  The top of the background is an orange that was pulled from the daylily in the bottom half.

15 Green Things

I used 15 green pictures to attempt to make a unified picture.  I was trying to make the picture look like some what like something people would see on a street.  I used the eraser tool to erase parts of the picture that shouldn't be showing, the rectangular marquee tool to stretch different parts of the picture, and layer mask to change the colors.

Crazy Combos

I made a seal-butterfly combo and a rabbit-tiger-horse-fox combo.  I created these by using parts of the animals and layering them together.  I used the erase tool so extra parts were not showing, the mask layer so they would be closer in color, and the rectangular marquee tool to stretch the tigers legs to they would match the horses.  If I were to do this project again, I would use a brighter background so the animals may be seen better.
